GOLF
ENJOY IT IN COSTA TEGUISE
Golf in the Canary Islands has a century-old tradition rooted in the trade relations maintained by the islanders with the British Isles. In fact, the archipelago is home to top-level courses ready to host international tournaments.
Teguise's always warm climate makes practicing this sport a unique experience any time of the year. Lanzarote has three golf courses, one of which is located in Costa Teguise. Built on the slope of an ancient volcano, the 'Costa Teguise Golf' course is the most unique on the island and, according to Severiano Ballesteros, the best-designed in the Canary Islands.

MOUNTAIN BIKING
EXPLORE THE MUNICIPALITY BY BIKE
Lanzarote offers the opportunity to traverse volcanic landscapes by mountain bike, discovering the island's rich natural resources and unique scenery, including man-made vineyard fields.
These fields feature deep pits covered with volcanic ash and protected by small, hand-built zocos, allowing the vines to grow and giving Malvasía grapes a unique flavor.

HIKING
TREKKING IN LA GRACIOSA
Lanzarote's volcanic nature gives the island a magical touch that delights hikers and trekkers. Its complex geography allows for routes through inactive craters, ravines, and natural parks, all at the foot of the Atlantic Ocean.
Lanzarote was declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in 1993, and more than 40 percent of the island and the Chinijo Archipelago's total area is protected natural space. In the Chinijo Archipelago, La Graciosa Island is the most charming for trekking enthusiasts. With no paved roads and dirt paths ideal for walking, it's worth climbing the mustard-colored slopes of the peculiar Yellow Mountain and relaxing at one of its many virgin coves.
