Las Conchas

It is probably the most spectacular of them all. Located to the north of the island and flanked by the imposing Montaña Bermeja, it is an idyllic spot from which you can clearly see Montaña Clara, Alegranza, and the Roques del Este and Oeste. The color contrast is stunning: golden sand, turquoise water with countless shades of blue, sparkling white foam, the fiery red mountain with sparse greenish vegetation, a wall of shiny black rocks, all beneath a clear blue sky illuminated by an omnipresent sun.
