What to See at the Lagomar Museum

An oasis in the heart of Lanzarote
The house stretches across an old volcanic rock quarry and is composed of caves, tunnels, and terraces where every corner is carefully designed. Its wooden beams were salvaged from shipwrecks that washed up on the coasts of Lanzarote, and many of the building materials are natural elements, including the island's own lava.
The tour through the house reveals different rooms that take the shape of cozy caves, housing the kitchen, bedrooms, and living room. In the center of the garden, a beautiful central lake surrounded by palm trees and lush vegetation fills the space with life.
Today, Omar Sharif's house is much more than a museum full of stories; it is a vibrant place and home to one of the most beautiful cafés in Lanzarote.
