The Town Hall of Teguise: Between History and Architectural Renewal

Casa Consistorial
The ayuntamiento (Town Hall) of Teguise is built over the convent outbuildings of what was the local monastery of Santo Domingo, and still preserves two arcades of the cloister and the original cisterns. In 1956, the municipal authorities agreed to carry out a series of remodelling projects, since back then the site had already been earmarked for council buildings and a public school.
