From 5.30 pm to 9.00 pm, the Plaza del Puerto in Caleta de Sebo will host a special solar eclipse viewing event, as part of the Elder Museum’s ‘Atalayas Cósmicas’ project. This is an opportunity to experience this astronomical phenomenon from La Graciosa, with an educational programme designed to bring science to the public and allow them to enjoy the sky safely and in a guided setting.
Throughout the day, visitors will be able to follow the progress of the eclipse, with key moments expected at around 7.04 pm, 7.52 pm and 8.40 pm, making the afternoon a unique opportunity to observe, learn about and share one of the most eagerly awaited astronomical events of the year.
