From 7.00 pm to 9.00 pm, the Teguise Municipal Theatre will host a round-table discussion as part of the commemoration “José Clavijo y Fajardo. 300 years of the Enlightenment from the Canary Islands”, focusing on his intellectual diversity and the cultural and historical legacy he has bequeathed to the archipelago. The event will be moderated by Mario Pérez Hernández and will feature contributions from Mariano de León Reyes, Mario Ferrer Peñate, Ángeles García Hernández, Manuel Ortiz Porteros, Carmen Morales Rodríguez and Juan Manuel González Guerra. An event to reflect on and highlight the role of Clavijo y Fajardo in Enlightenment thought.
